Pros: fun game, many well-known songs, customizing features, multiple skill levels
Cons: price, durability
The Bottom Line: This is an overall fun game, but if you are worried about durability or the price racking up from accessories, I don't recommend buying this game.
eilatan1988's Full Review: Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Gama + Guitar) f...
We paid $200 for guitar hero a few months ago. The songs are good, but the instruments are giving out. The drums aren't as sensitive anymore so you have to bang harder and after hitting the drum once too hard it broke and had to have the pole stuffed to hold it up. The stick on the guitar (not sure what it's called) spins around by itself and won't stay where you need it. This game is fun if you don't get annoyed easily by repetitve songs because you can run out of new ones quickly. The mic is a little tricky to use. It's a little difficult to keep up with the beat of the songs, although you don't actually have to know the words. Another nice feature of the game is being able to customize just about everything from the person to the instruments. It's also nice being able to have multiple bands saved so you don't have to use someone else's. It might be more worth the price if the extra guitar was included. The extra cost of that is just ridiculous. Overall it's a fun game, but I would not recommend spending this much on it especially if people in your house are rough on things or play them alot.
