I recently purchased the basketball of this set from BabyUniverse and it arrived about two weeks ago.
There really isn't going to be a whole lot to say about this toy but I will try my best.
It looks like a real basketball except that it is soft and it has a little rattle inside. My son loves this as he loves the noise that rattles make.
I think this was a good choice because this is something he can also throw and when we play toss it doesn't hurt if it accidently hits me or him due to a missed catch.
It is also machine washable which is a big load of my mind. I just know that with my son it will end up in some mishap and needing a wash. :0)
Besides accidents though I can clean it any old time I feel it could use a little sanitization since I know it is safe in the machine on the gentle cycle.
Another thing that made my purchase easier was that this is a toy made by Gund. I have long loved the Gund line. They really do make some of the best stuffed toys on this planet.
I suppose the most important part of all this is my son's reaction to this toy. From the second I gave it to him he was enchanted. He spent the good part of the day shaking it or carrying it around.
It is perfect for his little hands as it squishes when you grip it. Of course my son also carries it around by the tag. *grin*
By the next day he was throwing it around and having a grand time with it. We played toss and also we rolled the ball back and forth on the kitchen floor for a time.
He loved it and was giggling so much I thought he might have trouble getting air. I am really glad I made this purchase and I now have my eye on the other stuffed mini-pro balls. :0)
