Pros: They'll mail it to your home every month.
Cons: You won't want it every month when it doesn't work.
The Bottom Line: Try it if you like. No sense in wondering what if, but don't get your hopes up if you have serious problem skin.

This really is no cure for severe acne. I have had acne for 18 years now - from the time I was 13 and am now 31. I wanted this to work so badly...now I want to warn others not to put too high a hope on this product.
I had actually tried Proactiv back when it first came out. My parents bought it for me. I was heartbroken then when it didn't work as I had watched the tv commercials and dreamed of having clear skin. I've been told my several people that I'd be really pretty if it wasn't for my acne.
Since then, years later and many dermatologists and antibiotics later...people started to tell me to use Proactiv, they've seen the commercials, it really works. I explained how I had tried it and it didn't work for me. Then I met someone who said they tried it years ago and it didn't work, but when they tried it recently, it did. My hopes soared. Did they change it somehow? They must have done something to make it better! It's sure to work now!
I'm sorry to say that it didn't. Maybe it'll work for you if you have the occasional breakout or just a mild case of acne, but if you're like me, don't waste your time or money.
