Pros: Excellent print quality, faxing and scanning.
Cons: Pricey.
The Bottom Line: A heavy duty home office machine that does it all. Price, but worth it.

I purchased this machine to replace my t45xi (see review) which has been relegated to backup duty at the store (mostly faxing). So far it has been flawless. I was careful to follow the installation instructions, since I have heard from others that if you do not you can have serious software conflicts.
The machine can print excellent images and text, even double sided, although I think it is slower than the advertised 17 ppm. Maybe downhill with a tailwind . . .
It's pretty heavy and bulky, but the heft adds a sense of solidity that is appreciated. The flatbed scanner works well, and the fax function is quite good (I like the feeder a lot, which allows for a multipage fax with ease).
The only real drawback of the machine is that it's pretty pricey, although I managed to get it at Costco for $429 less a $60 rebate. It looks like a new machine, the d155 is out, so maybe they're discounting them.
If you need a serious home office machine this is an excellent choice, although for lighter duty a 2210 or v40xi would do about as well for considerably less money ($229 and $139, respectively, at Costco after current rebates/discounts).
