Some warranty...

Pros: good output quality
Cons: Worked 5 minutes then after 4 months of no working printer HP gave partial refund
The Bottom Line: Never buy it. There must be some problem with quality control at HP.

After spending just over $450 the printer's scanner did not work from the moment I powered it on for the first time. I had a next day exchange supplementary warranty. HP immediately sent a refurbished one. This refurbished replacement was damaged and never worked. I called them and they replaced it with another damaged and non working refurbished printer which would not even turn on. I called again, quite upset. The support department agreed that it was upsetting. They told me that another printer would be sent out, but this time a brand new one. The only problem was that I would have to wait 48 hours for a special case manager to call me back as that was the only person allowed to authorize the release of brand new (i.e. not refurbished) printers.
Three days later no phone call. I let them know and they apologized and said they would again refer my case "up a level". Three days later no ohone call, no case manager. I called again. This went on for nearly three weeks. So for four months I have not had a working printer. Some $450. Finally after 3 weeks a case manager called. She was curt and told me there was nothing she could do about the three week wait. My options were, as she put them, for her to send out a new printer after I sent her the old one, or for me to return the printer for a partial refund minus the original sales tax and shipping. No apologies were offered for my business being four months without a printer. Obviously I chose my money back. Once a lifelong "HP only" customer, I'll never buy an HP product again. Feeling that helpless and at their mercy even after having obtained a next day exchange warranty through them was miserable!
