I just got this monitor 2 days ago. I bought it refurbished for $387 on ComputerGeeks. I am using it through its DVI (digital) connector. With a 1280 x 1024 definition the quality of the picture is absolutely amazing. Very sharp and very bright image. I cannot see any defective pixels. Since my ATI Radeon 8500 video card enables dual monitors I could compare my previous 17-inch View Sonic CRT display with this one right beside. Although the View Sonic was considered as an excellent CRT monitor when I bought it the HP LCD looks better in many ways. It is brighter, sharper and the picture displayed on the HP is significantly bigger, although there are both 17-inch. I find the color performance very good to.
