Cons: costly ink cartridges

The Bottom Line: Would have to try another one before giving a fair judgement. Also, why has HP replaced this model so quickly with the 130 model?

This is a fun printer that you can fit into a suitcase and take travelling. It can print a contact sheet which is very handy, and works with 3 different styles of memory card. I really like being able to print a snapshot any time I want without having to resize it in software, or cut from a larger piece of paper. It has good resolution, but my prints are consistently too red and are over-exposed. I have to use the advanced tab in the driver to sort-of fix this. Even so, the prints aren't as good as I get from my 4-year-old Epson Stylus 600. Given the other reviews I've seen, I may have a lemon. The $35 price for the color cartridge is a ripoff. The paper is also expensive. Buy 8.5 x 11 glossy inkjet paper from Office Depot (100 sheets/$40) and a paper cutter with grid lines and a ruler to make your own paper.
