| cbock1234's Full Review: Hewlett Packard Photosmart 320 Digital Camera |
I bought this camera as part of an HP package. hp deskjet 3420 and the camera for $150.00 total. I still think I got a bargain.
I AM A FIRST TIME DIGITAL CAMERA USER. I was told to look for 2.1 MP or higher. This camera has 2.1MP, LCD display, and a zoom feature that does not impress me. By that I mean, you can not zoom in and out freely, as a person not familiar with digital cameras might think. With this particular camera, you can zoom in a set distance, then zoom in further a set distance. The option is still nice, just a bit misleading to first time buyers.
I have loved the camera so far. I had to spend $60 to buy a memory chip cause the camera's internal memory was far too small (as is with most digital cameras). But that was expected. At least now I can take over a hundred pictures and store them in the camera.
The photo downloading and managing couldn't be easier. I believe picture quality to be average to above average, but the farther you zoom, the less quality you get. My normal camera collects dust now that I print out my own digital pictures at home.
I feel it was a good investment at a good price. I do not have much experience with "extreme high/extreme low quality" digital cameras, so I can not compare, but this one, for a first time user, is simple to operate, fun, and worth the buy.
