| Naughtius's Full Review: Hewlett Packard Photosmart 320 Digital Camera |
Just got one of these for Christmas and have been using it pretty extensively for the past 6 months, so here's the scoop. Bear in mind I'm not a professional photographer, just someone who likes to take pictures from time to time, and get nice family vacation shots.
The Photosmart 320 looks to be HP's entry level camera. Yes, it features 2.1 Megapixel resolution, and 2x and 4x zoom, along with red eye reduction and decent editing tools, but the kicker for me was the built in AVI recording feature, which allows 30 second AVI clips to be shot, albeit without sound. That and adjusting picture quality were sone nice perks for me.
However, the 320 doesn't look to be the high end camera of choice. Detailed pictures are difficult to come by, and picture quality is quite grainy over long distances. You're almost guaranteed to pick up extra flash memory, as it has 8 MB or so internally. Still for the price, it's a great little camera for all you nonprofessionals out there.
