I AM THRILLED WITH THIS CAMERA (Reply to this comment)
by jerseydreamer
My only comment to add to all of the othersis that - believe me, you don't need a lot of experience to get started with this camera.
I just bought it a day ago, spent about 20 minutes reading the instruction brochure (which is very clear), and started shooting. My pictures with all auto settings, both indoor and out, have been beautiful. I got it for $199 at Staples (after rebates) and held off on getting the docking station. I am glad I did for now. I haven't needed it to do what I want to do yet! I am so used to a 35 mm that using the viewfinder is simpler for me, and it is alot easier on the battery life. I was told if I don't get the docking station to buy AA Lithium batteries for about $10 which last a very long time.
I plugged in the USB cable into the camera and to my Dell (fairly new) and was asked if I wanted to use the Microsoft Digital Camera Wizard. I didn't even load the HP software yet, and I was able to print, enlarge, insert in emails, etc.
The quality is unbelievable.
I am sure this will be a most enjoyed purchase after I read more on its features and begin using the camera to its full potential.
For now, I have nothing but the best to say about this camera.
PS I love the black body - it's rubberized which makes me feel a little safer using it.

Although the format is fine to me (Reply to this comment)

I wished you had talked more about the camera... not so much in features but in performance. I have no idea if the pictures look good are off color... blah, blah, blah. I get the feeling you like the camera and it is 3.3 MegaPixels but that's about it.

Hello (Reply to this comment)

Hi, justinbw. Thanks for posting this report on your HP digi cam. Although you've provided a fair amount of info here, I have to go with a SH rating on your review today. To me, the format you're using here is just too much in the form of a "canned" features list. And I think some of the statements you make could use a little more clarity so that they won't be confusing to consumers reading your write-up. Well, if you ever decide to edit this one, please let me know so that I can re-read and re-rate accordingly.
