rosemeadow's Full Review: Hewlett Packard Scanjet 3300c Flatbed Scanner
I purchased the HP ScanJet 3300C several months ago. I just could not take one more day with our Mustek scanner. The price was right at Office Depot...on sale for $99! Much much cheaper than the Mustek a couple of years ago. I'll admit, I was skeptical at first. After such a rotten experience in the past I couldn't be blamed. I must say that I have been nothing but 100% satisfied with this scanner. It is a wonderful piece of hardware.
First, it is FAST. It scans so much quicker and more efficiently than our older scanner that I was amazed. Another feature I liked is that it has easy-to-use buttons on the front to run the scanner. A button for scanning and a button for copying. Which brings me to my next rave about it...I adore the copy feature. It does just as well as a photocopier and does it in a reasonable time frame. That is nice feature to have when you need to photocopy documents on a small scale.
The photo software that accompanied the scanner has been a lot of fun and makes editing photos easier than ever. You do not need to be proficient in every aspect of the computer world to do this. Finally, I want to compliment the size of this scanner. It is much smaller than our older scanner therefore allowing us more room on our desk.
I would highly recommend this scanner to anyone who is looking for value and quality wrapped into one. Ideal for family use and small businesses.
