I agree completely with Zerine's comments. I bought this 18-bottle, dual-zone wine cellar/cooler/refrigerator from Target on 12/16/07 for $150, after a prior 12-bottle Haier wine cooler died after 6 months. This one is branded as "Aficionado" but it is really a Haier (as I later learned), the Chinese manufacturer of cheap, poorly-made products . The separate "adjustable" cooling zones for white and red wines never worked. No matter what temperature settings I selected, the cooler did its own thing, never adjusting the temperature to closer than 8 degrees from my selected settings. After 8 months, the lower compartment (for reds, with a higher temperature range than the upper compartment for whites), simply died. The circulation fan in that compartment kept running, but it was blowing room temperature air. After another 8 months, the upper compartment died. The two circulation fans kept running in both compartments, but there was no cooling at all. I would also criticize the tight space for the bottles, but it really doesn't matter how much space you have if the cooling mechanism doesn't work. Bottom line: Don't buy Haier products and avoid the model name "Aficionado".
