Hello, I bought this filter 4 1/2 months ago let me tell you it is fantastic! I have this filter filtering a 55 gal community fish tank with about 16 fish and the water is crystal clear! The assembly was not to bad, I read a few reviews saying that the instruction where terrible but there really not that bad. Just take your time and go step by step and you will be fine. I really am happy with my purchase, the filter is very powerful and it is built solidly. I especially love the quick disconnect of the hoses that make filter media changes or cleaning a snap! Also the price of this filter is extremely reasonable, I paid 119.00 for my filter and I just saw the price as low as 89.99 at Big Al's fish store. (www.bigalsonline.com) So if you want a great filter for a more than reasonable price go for this filter you will not be sorry.
