This is a great simple place with great simple food. The decor is 50's, with coke signs on the walls (as well as all the great reviews they've gotten!) The food is cooked right before your eyes. They proudly wear shirts blazened with the "A Team" (the cleanliness rating system in LA) and their motto is "so clean you can eat off the floor!" Well, the food certainly reflects that! Their burgers have been rated #1 by several newspapers and radio stations, but I have to add that they have the best tuna melt I have ever eaten (they actually put a lot of tuna and cheese in, unlike most places where it's all greasy bread.) It's cash only, but the prices are so reasonable you can bring all the kids for lunch or dinner. The place is very kid friendly, with coloring sheets and free balloons. Parking may be a bit of a problem as this place fills up during lunch. Try the milkshakes, too!
