The same as many others, although I got more than three months. I got six months!! I kind of expected that many years! The thing Just stopped working. I tried to take it apart to check for loose wires or a bad fuse. I can't even get it apart. I have read many, many reviews from other sites describing the exact same problem. Seems they should have recalled this thing a long time ago. There were several things I didn't like about it when it did work, so I wont miss it. I just feel like I threw my money away. I plan to write Hamilton Beach to let them know about my experience and what I have read about this toaster. Bottom line, if you are thinking of buying this, do a search for "Hamilton Beach toaster 22502 reviews". Then make your decision.

They said I needed to write more. So I can add some other things. I didn't care for the blue led on the front. It would always be on and get hot. So you have to leave it unplugged. Every time you plug it in it goes to the default setting of 5. I never used 5. So you always have to reset it. I wish I would have done more research on this before I bought it rather than after!
