My husband and I bought this toaster shortly after we were married last spring. We liked it because it looked elegant with its shiny black and chrome exterior and the curved handle. Plus we thought it would be convenient to have a toaster and an oven in one machine. However, except for the aesthetic style, I've been only disappointed in this product.

The slot-toaster part of it is very poorly thought out. It is not wide enough to accept two normally sized slices of bread without them overlapping each other. It is not deep enough for a normally sized slice of bread to go all the way into the toaster. (Whose brilliant idea was that??) The result is that bread toasts unevenly. Another problem is that once the lever has been pushed down, there isn't a button to release it if you wish to take the toast out before the timer stops. Pushing the lever up manually takes a lot of force, which is not only inconvenient, but it also causes the toast to fly into the air like a trampolinist!
The oven part of it is fine, I reluctantly admit. Again, it cooks rather unevenly, but that's to be expected from such a small chamber that isn't air-tight.
One of the biggest irritations of this unit is how impossible it is to clean. There is no way to open the bottom or the back to get at the crumbs that fall to the bottom. Cleaning requires turning the whole bulky thing upside-down and shaking the crumbs onto your counter. Not very graceful.
But hey, at least it looks nice on our counter!
