Cons: smaller beaters than full size mixers
The Bottom Line: I would say if you are looking for a handheld mixer, I think for the price and features you get, you too will be happy with your purchase.

I really wanted one of those nice Kitchen Aid stand mixers but I am lacking in space and wouldn't really use it that much, but for tasks I cannot do in my K-Tec Champ Blender, I wanted a mixer. I used to have one of those old Oster Kitchen Centers and swore never to have an appliance like that, too many pieces to store. So I went on a quest to find the perfect mixer for me without breaking the bank and one I could have that wouldn't take up much space. I finally decided on this particular blender because of the features for the price.
Mix Smart timer
One of the best features I liked is the timer because almost every recipe has a certain amount of time you are supposed to beat something. With this model you never have to guess how long because it is right there on the top. The only downside for me is that I am not all that tall, so it is a little harder for me to see the timer unless I tilt the mixer a little bit while using it. It could also be that our countertops might be a little higher than they are in most homes.
Automatic "Soft Start"
I really like this feature. It slowly starts out each time you turn it on to speed up gradually and helps to eliminate splatters. So even if you turn it off on speed #5, when you turn it back on, it starts out slowly once again at speed #1.
Microchip Intelligence
It automatically increases power when needed to prevent mixer slowdown. It doesn't get bogged down in doing its job.
IntelliMix 10 Speed Control Pad
I liked the speed controls, it is all smooth, no knobs or buttons, but a smooth control panel that has a digital display of the speeds. The only switch is the on/off switch.
Bowl Rest Mixer Stabilizer
This worked great. When you turn it off it will sit there for you nicely eliminating messes.
Soft Grip Handle
It truly does feel comfortable in your hand. Has a non slip grip.
Cord Wrap
Conveniently you can wrap the cord around the base and it has one of those nifty little devices on there to attach the end, sort of like you might have on your vacuum cleaner.
The user manual includes some very interesting recipes as well.
Overall I think this is a great product. 225 watts in a hand held is about the strongest power I have seen.
My only real adjustment will be getting used to smaller beaters. Being that I was used to a stand mixer this was a little different for me. And of course I was using it for cookie dough to really test it out and see how it performed with a heavy batter. It worked through the batter very well and this was a very thick oatmeal raisin recipe on the healthier side. They recommend if you are adding nuts or chips to stir them in by hand. My recipe obviously had rolled oats and raisins. I let the mixer do the work to see how it would perform. It did well.
I did not try out the whisk, but obviously if you are going to use a whisk it will be on something much lighter and fluffier. And I already know without a doubt that this mixer will perform as well as any larger mixer in that capacity. I was more interested in seeing what it would do with something that was more of a challenge.
I am looking forward to using it for some home-made frostings which is one of the main reasons I wanted it. We just don't make many cakes around here and lately we have been eating them sans frosting. A friend just gave me a recipe for an angel food cake, I think this mixer will deliver an excellent outcome.
