I received my Oval Slow cooker as a gift. Since I had a smaller version of a slow cooker and our family had really out grown the size. I put the larger version on my wish list. I didn't think I would like the removable crock pot as well as the sealed in one. But was I ever wrong the first time I cooked BBQ beef in it. I could take the crock out and store the cooked meat right in the fridge for the over night marinate stage and then but it back in the next day for the rest of the simmering stage. I was so excited. No fuss on finding another bowl to fit it in. Mine came with a wonderful insulated travel bag. I didn't price them so I am still in the dark of the actual cost. But I can say it is worth every penny spent.
I have always been a big fan of slow cooking and this cooker has sold me even more. I try to use mine at every chance I get. I always plan as many meals for it as possible. Wonder how lasagna would turn out in it?
I have not found any bad points to my cooker. The ease of washing and storing makes it a big plus on my list. The decor on the outside even adds a nice to touch to the counter top area.
