Pros:Smaller size than regular plain Brewstation. Dispenses into coffee cup. 4 hr. shutoff.
Cons:Bad design. Awkward to use.
The Bottom Line: I would not buy the Brewstation Deluxe, because of design and ease of use factors.
I had a Brewstation for several years and loved it. It quit running after a lightning storm, so I was forced to buy another Brewstation. This time I bought the Deluxe version to get a 4 hr. shutoff, which was on sale at Sears for less than $70. Unfortunately, the Deluxe is more cumbersome and awkward to operate than the old Brewstation, even though it is smaller and more streamlined looking. The handle to the water pitcher is inconveniently placed at the back of the machine, and the water has to be measured into the pitcher, then poured into the water reservoir. With my old one, the lid to the machine lifted from the front, and I could use a sink sprayer to fill the marked reservoir, without even pulling the pot away from the wall. Pouring the water and manuevering the pot into position to fill with water and coffee (without spilling it) is a mess. I wish I would have gotten the plain jain version like I had, or just had given up and gone back to a carafe style coffee maker. Now I am reading here about the coffee maker having a leaking problem, so I really regret having bought the Brewstation Deluxe.
