Pros: Great coffee very fast. Excess coffee does not cook down to paint remover.
Cons: Double check coffee tank before filling carefully for leaks.

This was a replacement for three(3) prior electric coffee makers in the past 1 l/2 years. The deciding factor to purchase this model was the fact that here was no hot plate.
We have used this coffee maker for about six (6) months and so far it is doing great except for some minor inconviences which we will get into later.
The fact that it turns off automatic in about two (2) hours is a plus.. that way the leftover coffee can be reheated in the micro before it turns to paint remover.
It brews the coffee very fast in the morning and you can grab a cup before the brew cycle is completed - no mess - this is a lifesaver.
Now for the down side. On very rare occasions coffee will leak from the spigot. This seems to happen more often if you don,t at least rinse out the tank prior to use. This has happened twice in six months. I feel this is a minor flaw as you can tell if it is going to leak BEFORE the brew cycle is started. Just use the coffee tub, after being rinsed out, to fill it. If the darn think leaks, it needs to be cleaned...
