PMellEagle's Full Review: Frank Peretti - Hangman's Curse: Movie Edition
The Veritas Project: Hangman's Curse is apparently the first of a new series by Frank Peretti. I read it as it was a gift from someone who knew I liked Peretti's earlier works, especially "This Present Darkness," and assumed I'd like anything Peretti.
They weren't far from the truth; which is a central theme of the book as well! The Veritas Project refers to a super-secret government project that goes in to help out when things go wrong... bringing a different perspective; namely (gasp) that maybe God's been dissed and His Holy Word and Moral guidance is needed after all!

The "Project" consists of a family; mom, dad, and twins... brother & sister named Elijah and Elisha (pronounced Aleesha)... and they will infiltrate an area; be it drugs or in this case the suspiscious sickness of several high-school students. Rumor is the "ghost of Abel Frye" is on the loose! Regardless of the incident, the kids infiltrate the school and Mom and Dad are nearby; in this instance, Dad fills in as a custodian at the school.
