We stayed at Harborside Inn last April for the Boston Marathon...The hotel is right near Faneuil Hall, Quincy Marketplace, the Aquarium, and a short walk to the North End, which is our favorite place to visit in Boston! The rooms are not fancy, but very clean and have all that you need. (Room rates are really good for marathon time too.) One thing to consider- if you are in need of getting a good night's sleep and you're not a partier, ask to be as far away from the street as possible. Guide books may tell you the "city view" is better than the "atrium view", but the noise from nearby bars can be pretty loud if you have a room near the street. Also, ask for a parking discount for the nearby public parking lot early- it was not available to us when we arrived, as they only have a limited number of these they can offer. Would stay there again!
