I will pick up this book. My four year old has had asthma since he was 1 and it has been hard for us. I am always looking for information about it and things I should do. He only has wintertime asthma which is common I guess. And his is triggered by a cold. He gets a cold in November and the asthma starts up and stays all winter long...it makes me want to put him in a bubble! We have had ambulance trips with his oxygen level at 60.

School Nurse? (Reply to this comment)
by char.mike
Kimm, ya better check and make sure your school system has a nurse there on a daily basis. Many only have traveling nurses...they go from school to school and may only be at a school a few hours a day or even once or week or less.
If so, make sure the principal or secretary is familiar with using and giving your child's inhaler to him.
I have run into this problem at my little one's school.
Best of Luck!
