Pros: Centrally Located, Ample parking, Friendly Service, Lots of people WINNING!
Cons: I walked away from a slot that was about to JACKPOT!!!
The Bottom Line: Harrahs has resurrected Sleepy Joilet from the grave! A must see !!!

I regularly go to the Harrahs - Joliet Casino when I visit my wife's family in Illinois. Since I have a passion for the slots, this place helps quench my thirst for this.
The Harrahs in downtown Joilet brings this little sleepy Midwestern town to life. It started as one of those river boat casino deals were you boarded a boat and it cruised around the river for a few hours while you gambled to your hearts content. This went on for awhile until some new legislation occurred which made it legal for them to just have the gambling establishment on the water and remained moored to the dock.
Harrahs built a casino type façade with a bar and a restaurant with a dock-ramp where you walk over onto the riverboats. Since they had two riverboats they are now moored at the dock together and lashed side by side so that you can walk from one boat to the other. Its like one huge casino now.
The Casino is a run away success. Harrahs has built a new hotel adjacent to the boats and the façade making it a huge gambling complex which looks a little like Vegas
The casinos are full service with tables for Blackjack and Craps along with more than enough slots to suit every taste and budget.
My favorite machines are the quarter slots but I have two auntie's that have me take them to the boat who like to play the $1 slots….WOW! They are much more experienced gamblers than I am and they do win regularly
On my last time to the boat, one of my auntie's played the quarter machines with me. She played for hours on $20 Bucks and then SHE WON! I was playing the machine next to her and that machine was robbing me blind. I got up from the machine and started playing another machine.
Some guy came over to that same machine and put in a couple of quarters (two pulls) and walked away with $1500!!!!!!!!!
To this day, every time I talk about the gambling boat I hear "You should have kept playing that mane….hhhhooo boy!
In the Casino, you will hear happy people everywhere winning bucks. Of course, there are a lot of people there loosing bucks too!
All in all, if you play smart you can break even or make some cash. And, every once in awhile…hot a jackpot!
One thing is for certain, when you make your win no matter what the size…cash in your stuff and GO HOME.
The odds have spoken in your favor that night. DON'T GIVE IT BACK TO THEM BEEING GREEDY…….Tomorrow is another day!
