What can you say that isn't good about old Harry Caray's.
My friend and I went in for a few drinks to watch the game, and oh my what a great place to watch your favorite Chicago team. We started in the bar with some brews and some appetizers (fries and cheeze sticks). The wide screen tv makes the game enjoyable from anywhere in the bar. After watching half the game(night game) decided to order a meal.
A full menu was available in the bar, so we did not have to leave the friendly confines of our barside game. The spaghetti and meatballs were the best I've ever had (no lie). My friend enjoyed his seafood. Taking a trip around the bar their are ample memorabilia items from the many Chicago teams to admire. Pick up a few souvenirs of shirts, hats, cards, etc. all very attractive.
The restaurant itself was geared towards a more fancier attire, but we enjoyed the causal atmosphere in the bar to observe the game.
Prices are not for the thin of wallet, but hey, this is Chicago and it is Harry Carey's.
I truly enjoyed the experience and loved the food! I would recommend to all who love Chicago sports and love to eat good food.
