While I was strolling through Meijers one day, (I was not there to purchase anything special), I decided to try and get my dogs something different to snack on. That is when I stumbled upon the “Crunch ‘n Clean” treats by Hartz. I am always on the lookout for a treat that will help me keep my dogs teeth clean and maybe get lucky and give them somewhat of fresher smelling breath than what they have. Their breath can be horrendous at times, at least take your own breath away. This treat also has the patented “DentaShield” ingredient to help remove and prevent tartar. This ingredient is supposed to help remove twice as much tartar as a regular biscuit. The other product that you might want to look into if you like giving your pet rawhide is Hartz “Dentist Best”, which looks like a rawhide bone. One box of these "Crunch 'n Clean" biscuits will cost you only five dollars a box. That is a lot cheaper and less painful than going to the vets and paying him.

When I walked down the dog treat isle I saw this yellow green box with the words “Crunch ‘n Clean” enlarged so much that they jumped right out at me. This medium treat comes in a 26 ounce box and is for the smaller dogs' such as Miniature Schnauzers or that line of breed. If you have a dog that is about twenty pounds this would be the perfect treat for them. These come in the shape and color of a medium sized dog biscuit. You can give two treats a day, if you have a medium sized dog. This particular kind has a baked in meaty taste that dogs' will prefer two to one. These also have little green crystals to help with freshening your dogs breath.

This treat has been tested and is recommended by Veterinarians all around the country. Hartz has been around since 1926 and has made a lot of different types of products besides treats. They have also made shampoos, flea collars, and even medicated stuff to help make your pets life a lot easier to live.

Experience
Once I discovered this treat I have noticed a definite improvement on how white my dogs’ teeth look, plus how their breath smells. My German Shepard loves these and will out chew my Miniature Schnauzers 2 to 1, the smaller dogs' will take a little longer to chew these up because these are very hard compared to the regular dog biscuits.

These biscuits will coat your dogs teeth with the ingredient “DentaSheild”, to help prevent any further tartar. Plus because these are so hard they will be harder to chew up and that makes your dog work harder to get rid of any built up tartar. If you notice any build up of any food particles on your dogs’ teeth, then it is time to start to do something about cleaning their teeth.
