The Bottom Line: I think this was a great idea for a toy, but the end result is not.

| brenda5008's Full Review: Hasbro Busy Ball Popper |
For the past couple of days I've been trying to review the toys my children received as Christmas gifts, as well as what my one year old received the week before Christmas on her birthday.
This toy was a gift to my daughter. I thought it was pretty cute and that she would love it. If you've read my recent reviews, you already know she loves music and does pretty well with toys a child her age may not normally be interested in yet.
Olivia thought this toy was quite cute once put together and turned on. She likes to take the ball from the top before they have shot back down the orange shoot and stick them down the bottom opening.
She enjoys the music, and my four year old thinks it's pretty cute as well.
BUT. The suction force is weak, the whirring sound from the toy is loud, and the toy does not operate without all five balls. That may sound simple but anyone with a child knows that it would be a first time if a child didn't lose at least ONE ball.
My biggest complaint about this toy is the durability.
The first night of playing with it the top yellow snap on must have fallen off every five minutes for various reasons, whether it be because my son reached over it or my daughter tried to grab a ball coming out of it, it fell off way too easily.
I would also agree with other reviews stating the safety hazard. I suppose a child has never died from sticking their arm down a suction tube out of curiosity, but it will leave welps and the child may become frightened if she is unable to remove her arm without the toy first being turned off.
Since my understanding is that this toy is around twenty dollars, which is not cheap, and the balls can't be ordered from Playskool as replacement parts, I think you may be happier if you passed this toy up and went for another one that will last longer and cause fewer bruises in the long run.
