Boggle is a well known game in which you mix up lettered dice and have a time limit in which to find the most words made from linked letters. This is the computer version, which has added features and variations on the basic game. You can play against other people or the computer, with or without a time limit. There is a dictionary and word list, and you can look up definitions of the words in the list. You are also given the maximum number of words that can be found and a points score based on the number of letters in your words.
I find the game quite addictive, and return to it each time I play on the computer. My kids (aged 9 & 11) enjoy it also. However I do think there is one flaw, and that is in the dictionary, which has in it many words which do not seem to exist. If you ask for a definition it just tells you there isn't one, and I have tried unsuccessfully to look them up in a (book) dictionary. So I can only assume that someone somewhere along the line has thought these words should exist and added them to the dictionary. Unfortunately, although there is a function which allows you to add words to the dictionary there is not one to remove them. I once added a word by mistake and couldn't undo my error. It also means that there is inconsistency in the dictionary, in that some abbreviations and colloquialisms are allowed and not others.
If this problem were ironed out it would be one of the best games for people who love word games.
