Honest. The doors look cheap and flimsy, and are hard for him to close, but they haven't fallen off and he plays with them non-stop. We just got ours a few weeks ago, so maybe they fixed the problem.

...at Wal-Mart today and thought it would make a GREAT gift when my Buzz Lightyear fan turns 4 in a few months.

You mean your doors don't come off incessantly??? Maybe I should write to Hasbro and tell them ours is defective. My nephew's does the exact same thing, so I just assumed that they ALL fell right off. The backpack is the least of our issues. :)
