Pros: Strong female character.
Cons: Wasn't long enough!
Only recently have I gotten into Nora Roberts. My first book I read of hers was the first novel in the Three Sisters Island trilogy, Dance Upon the Air. While I really liked Nell and Zack's story, it was Ripley who I liked the most in that book. For some reason, I related to her and I liked the fact that she's her own woman. I also liked the character of MacAllister Booke, although I did not like it when he was having sexual fantasies involving Mia. To me, the whole point of a romance is that one man and one woman should have eyes only for each other, except in Bertrice Small's books, but that's another thing.
This book was funny, serious and romantic (although not at the same time for most of the book). I do recommend this for anyone on a rainy afternoon, you won't be sorry and before you know it you'll be done.
