Well thanks. I figure if the non-medicated moisturizing cream is used regularly the medicated version won't be needed. Thanks for the recommendation and the comments. ;-)

You gotta worry (Reply to this comment)

when it warns you to STOP using it after a week - lol :)

I've not needed a medicated cream, but I have found that Burt's Bees foot creme works really really well :)

Patsy,

I just purchased the Blue Goo. The ingredients look pretty good: emu oil, lecithin, soybean oil, lanolin, beeswax, papaya enzyme, BHA, BHT, fragrance.

I don't need the cracked heel treatment at the moment and hopefully regular application of a lotion designed for feet will prevent the need for the serious treatments. I picked up a peppermint foot lotion from Burt's Bees yesterday. We'll see what happens. No, haven't tried Blue Goo. I wonder sometimes how much these treatments (especially those rated 6,7,8,9) have contributed to health-related problems in seniors, especially if they've used them off and on for years.

Oh my gosh, I looked it up too! I was shocked. Are there any good heel balms out there? Have you tried the one by Blue Goo? It looks all natural.

I just looked your flexitol up - you might not want to. I had really good luck with Dr. Scholl's. Sigh.

Isn't it overwhelming how many heel creams are on the market? I had good luck with Flexitol, but I didn't look it up on Skin Deep, I guess I should!

Thanks for the heads up on this one,

Sue
