My ex-husband and I got a set of Four Star knives for a wedding present from our friend that worked in a knife shop. The marriage only lasted 3 years but it is now 9 years after the divorce and I'm still happy with the knives. They stay sharp, don't rust, and have a great handle/grip. I'm not one to take good care of my knives, yeah I clean them and keep them in a knife block and out of the dishwasher - but often that cleaning is after dinner not right when I use it. About once a year my friend who gave them to me comes by to sharpen them but since I now live a few states away instead of just the other side of town that has been a few years.
