Hersheys: Come on You can Do BETTER than THIS!

Pros: They are pretty and my underweight toddler will eat them.
Cons: These taste terrible.
The Bottom Line: I don't recommend this product. It taste weird.

I love most Hershys products that are out. Hersheys Kissables have to be the worst tasting product I think they have ever put out. Bleck. What your getting, is a 1.05 oz package of these Kissables. They come in a variety of colors. They are suppose to be candy coated mini "Kisses". Each pack is filled with bright and colorful candy coated kisses that are very tiny. They are cute to look at and remind me of chocolate chips only dipped in colors: Blue, Red, Green, Yellow and Orange.
I purchase these Hersheys Kissables for 2 of my children. They seem to like them. My youngest loves the colors. She is only 20 months old. I am trying to put a bit of weight on her and the doc says to give her candy that is loaded in carbs and calories. We are kind of desparate to get some weight on her. She is only 21 pounds at 20 months old. She loves this product so I will continue to purchase them and because they are high in calories and carbs.
I will not purchase them for myself. In my opinion they taste really bad. This so called candy coating is very sweet and overpowers the chocolate. It just doesn't work well at all. I can't even taste the traditional Hershey's type of chocolate that normally tastes really good because this coating seems to drown any of the flavor the chocolate could have. The chocolate taste is so cheap, and I would have guessed it wasn't really chocolate if I went by taste a lone. I would have never guessed it was a Hershey's product.
Don't get me wrong, it does taste somewhat like chocolate, but for some reason these kisses just don't have the quality taste I have been spoiled with when I eat their other products. I don't taste the smooth and creamy chocolate that really delights my taste buds. The coating makes the chocolate taste old, and waxy. There is a strange aftertaste with this product.
Hersheys Kissables seem to be packaged well, so I am assuming they are not stale. Of course with the Hersheys Kissables you are not able to decipher the date on their product unless your some kind of genius. What is with all of these codes? Why hide the date?

I guess Hershey's Kissables seem to appeal to the children more than I would say the adult. I guess my tastes have matured over the years. I am giving this product a one star only, and that is because my little girl will eat them. I think she only eats them because they are pretty and they are sweet. When it comes to candy she is not very picky. I do not recommend this product at all. Hersheys, you can do better than this.
