Hing Loon is a restaurant that is very eclectic in its offerings. It goes way over the usual offerings of beef, chicken and pork like many Chinese restaurants. The prices are great and very reasonable. The food is always great. While the ambiance might be something that might not be great. Should this really matter? Going to a restaurant should be about the meal and the quality and taste of it. While there are those restaurants that are more flashy, this restaurant sticks to its dependency on great food which is what's important. I recommend the offerings of won ton noodle soup and beef chow fun. There offering of noodles are great. Also, I would recommend the beef dishes at the restaurant. There are actually more dishes that are great than I care to list. In all, I have to say Hing Loon is one of my favorites in the I-District.
