Cons: Can't work the ball, no roll and too high, not much good feel either.

Last year I purchased a Giant 8 degree driver for a cheap price. I read good reviews and thought that HiPPO was a decent brand. Now, I think I should've waited and bought a better driver and saved $80.
The Giant is a decent value. I bought mine for only $80, and it has a fairly sized sweet spot. My club has 8* of loft and I'd like my shots to get good roll. When I get the ball right in the sweet spot it goes very high, but really doesn't roll anywhere, on a decent shot I get 20 yards of roll. When I mis-hit the ball loses very much distance and really slices. I also can not work the ball, but I don't think too many golfers care about that.
If all you want is a big head, then maybe the Giant would be a good choice, but if you're serious about your game, then buy yourself some nice equipment. Many other drivers will give you better performance.
