I've had my Hitachi 42" plasma TV for about 3 months now and I absolutely love it. I was looking for a reasonably priced plasma HDTV for my living room and I do not regret my purchase. I got it from Vann's online store for $1098.00 with free shipping to boot. This TV has a great picture, and the HD channels I have with DishNetwork just amaze me. I was watching speed skating and found myself ducking out of the way when the skater came straight toward the camera. There were other TV's similarly priced, but what made me choose this TV is the number and variety of A/V inputs. I have an X-box, Wii, Gamecube, DVD recorder/player and HDDVD player attached to this TV. Like I said, there is no lack of inputs. I still have 1 HDMI input and 1 component available. HD DVD's look great. If you're looking for a 42 inch plasma, this TV will not disappoint. Oh yeah, the built in digital tuner pulls in more channels than my old TV's analog tuner, including the HD signals.
