Pros: Great bubble strength, full length mat covers torso
Cons: Hose pulls apart, suction cups are tiny and don't stick, noisy
The Bottom Line: The product ended up being so troublesome to keep it suctioned to the tub and the hose plugged into the mat that I just don't use it any more.

| heatherellen's Full Review: Homedics Bubble Spa Bath Mat Massager with Remote ... |
I was thrilled when my husband purchased this product for me as a part of a 'pamper yourself' theme for Christmas. However after using it several times, I decided that Homedics didn't put the product into practical use enough times before they marketed it to the public.
It has incredible capacity to pump air at a pressure that really feels like a spa, however the hose easily disconnects from the mat. To connect it simply slips onto the mat and has no 'locking' feature to keep it in place and when you turn the product to high, off it goes.
So after taping the hose to the mat, I proceeded to enjoy my spa bath only to have the mat rise up and stick to my back because the suction cups did not hold to my tub. I tried wetting the surface, drying the surface, and finally decided the suction cups are simply too small to grab hold. It seems that much larger suction cups would serve the purpose better (someone tell Homedics!). I also tried the mat in a different tub with a different texture and had the same misfortune there.
The unit is very noisy, no way to avoid that, but if you were truly in a spa, you'd face the same noise. It does have a remote which is an added bonus so you can set different pressure levels, turn on the timer and other things once you've settled in.
Again, the concept is great, the air pressure was perfect, it certainly felt like a spa, but there were some product flaws that I just couldn't overlook.
I later found out a friend had the very SAME Homedics product and she'd wished she'd told my husband prior to his purchasing it for me as she (and I now), would recommend you seek out a different brand, but inspect that too prior to purchase!
