Okay, I have to admit, I'm normally a very opinionated person, so this site is my haven. However, with this product I had a hard time deciding whether to recommend it or not. I received this foot massager for Christmas this past year. Had you asked me to rate it a week after I received it, I would have emphatically said "DO NOT BUY THIS!" However, time has passed, and my creative side has taken over.

First, let me tell you a little more about this product. The HoMedics FootPleaser Ultra FP-2000 is designed to ease tired aching feet without the mess of water. It has a heat setting, a two-speed vibration, and a two-speed set of spinning balls in the middle of it to massage your feet. It has raised bumps all over the top of the massager and a handle on the back of it.

The heat is absolutely the best feature of this massager. It is wonderful on a cold winter night. The vibrating massage is not bad, but after a while it starts to send prickles up your feet, especially on the highest setting. Now, as far as the spinning balls on your feet. Can you say torture?!?!? Granted, I am so ticklish that if you even touch me just right, I will burst out into giggles, but even to the not-so-ticklish, I cannot imagine these things feeling good to your feet! They have two speeds -- ticklish & more ticklish. As I said earlier, when I first received this product, I would not have recommended it because it simply did not offer that much diversity and was not that pleasurable. Then I got to thinking.....

I was sitting here one night typing an Epinion and trying to get comfortable in my chair. It was difficult because I had a back ache. I had my feet on the heated Homedics massager and I was thinking "Boy, I wish I had a massager for my back, too." Then the light bulb came on! The HoMedics FootPleaser Ultra FP-2000 is flat and fairly wide. It also has a long cord. I thought "Those little annoying balls would probably feel good on my back..." I picked up my massager off the floor and placed it against the back of my chair. It sat there perfectly! I turned it on and leaned against it. Wow! The beads weren't annoying anymore!! They actually felt good!

I now use my HoMedics FootPleaser Ultra FP-2000 for both my feet and my back, depending on which is bothering me at the time. For this reason, I have decided to recommend this product. It has become a very versatile machine and makes both my feet and my back feel good.
