I have back problems and there are times when I simply can't move around. I bought the full mat HoMedics Massager last year after my doctor told me that I needed massage treatments. I thought that was a great idea, except that it costs a lot to go get a massage on a regular basis.
The mat is easy to handle, soft and comfortable, has several levels of massage and a BIG PLUS IS THAT IT HAS HEAT. I come home from work, do the usual dinner thing, and lay down on my mat, adjust the settings and unwind and relax.
I love this product because you can roll it up, take it with you while traveling, or just use it at home to veg-out. I would suggest that this product is for anyone who has back problems or anyone who just wants to relax. And what better way to ease the tension of the day, than to lay down and have a "massage". It is money well spent. A wise investment.
I would strongly suggest that if you have chronic back pain, see your physician as soon as possible. I waited, and then found out that I had some serious problems.
The mat that I use is the full length. I spread it over my couch, plug it in, lay down, adjust the temp. and level of massage I want, and in no time i'm feeling better.
I also have invested in the Back Massager Belt and the Chair Massage Pad. I have the Chair Massage Pad on my chair at work. I just plug it in, lean back, adjust the controls, and go about my day, all the while getting a massage. I wear the Back Massage Belt when i'm working out. The HEAT eases the tension and I find that i'm not hurting in places I didn't know I could hurt!!
