I received my Hoffritz Jumbo Spatula as part of the Hoffritz 13 Piece Stainless Steel Baking Accessory Set around the holidays. Included in the set were multiple spatulas, actually, with this one being the largest of the three.

Size Matters

When they say jumbo.. they mean jumbo. From end to end, the Hoffritz Jumbo Spatula is about a foot long. The spatula part itself is only slightly smaller than my hand. Being used to small wimpy spatulas this thing is simply massive.

I reserve the Hoffritz Jumbo Spatula for the big jobs that need to get done quickly. Like spreading frosting on a 9X13 pan of cake or brownies to quickly disguise that it came from a mix and make it look like I put more than 5 minutes of effort into it.

Talk about a spread...
Using the Hoffritz Jumbo Spatula is a pleasure. The head is made of a silicone rubber which makes it flexible but stiff at the same time. This makes it ideal for sticky frosting (especially the type that comes out of a Duncan Hines or Pillsbury can).

You cleaned me out!
The Hoffritz Jumbo Spatula is very easy to clean and can go in the dishwasher on the top rack, or be handwashed in soap and water. I've done both and mine looks as good as new after a year of regular use.

Looks aren't everything...but they do count
Surprisingly, my spatula has not yet melted or gotten stained from colorful or saucy foods either. The Hoffritz Jumbo Spatula still looks as great as it did the day that I got it. If I do say so myself, the Hoffritz Jumbo Spatula is one attractive spatula. Aside from being pumped up on steroids to achieve its massive size, its also a sharp dresser. The stem of the spatula is made of a black nylon (non-stick) and the handle is stainless steel. There's a small loop in it so that it can be hung up in between uses, too. I just keep mine in the drawer though.


Overall
I am impressed with the Hoffritz Jumbo Spatula and love mine. But, and this is a big but....If I hadn't received it as a gift I probably would have passed it by based on the price. This spatula costs almost 10 dollars - that seems pretty crazy to me. The only consolation I can offer on the price though is that when purchasing this spatula and other Hoffritz spatulas in one of the sets, they become a good deal when bundled with other high price items.

If you love Hoffritz products, like the looks of non stick with stainless steel, or require the use of a massive spatula (who doesn't?) then check into the Hoffritz Jumbo Spatula.
