We booked a room at the Holiday Inn Financial District because of the price. It was the cheapest hotel that seemed decent in central San Francisco. We were surprised to find the location, adjacent to Chinatown, North Beach, and the Financial District better than expected. We were within easy walking distance to most attractions, but the best thing is that we paid $100 for a room with a view of San Francisco Bay! This hotel has clean and modern rooms, a helpful staff, and elegant Modern-Asian style lobby. It is close to the best San Francisco has to offer. We will certainly return.
