Do not pay full price

Pros:Good clean rooms and nice pool
Cons:Scary building unhelpful staff outdated
The Bottom Line: If you can get a room on say priceline.com for 50 or 60 dollars its worth going. NEVER pay full price for this hotel.
My girlfriend and I went to stay here for the New Year holiday weekend. We stayed for two nights and three days. I would most likely say that the best thing about this hotel was the location. This is usually and in this case not a good thing. If I had to pick one word to describe the hotel the word is outdated. The lobby was nice but it still looked like it had not been changed in over twenty years. The layout of the hotel is not good at all either they have 4 or 5 normal rundown hotel buildings on one piece of land and then feel they can call it a resort. This is not a resort by any means they only thing that makes this resort comparable to any others was the nice pool outside with a built in waterfall. As for the building our room was in it was down right scary. The electric locks to lock the building were ripped out and anyone could just walk into the building at anytime, the same applied for the elevators. The elevators were the oldest ones I have ever been on in my life they creaked, moaned, squeaked, and shook the whole way up and down. If I had not been on the sixth floor I would have just used the stairs. Even with all of this at least they actually had updated the room and I felt that it was clean. I was actually very happy with what our room looked like and the refrigerator and microwave were great to have in the room. But the staff for the hotel just seemed to be non existent especially when someones finished room service scraps and dirty plates sat outside of there room door for two day and was still there when we checked out. Unfortunately that was not a one time thing because I read reviews of the hotel before we went and other people said the same thing about room service plates. Finally with many hotels on the International drive strip giving away free breakfasts to its guests they charged ten dollars a person and did not offer much on the buffet except fresh made to order omelets. With many places with in walking distance to get breakfast buffet for about 4 dollars each it was definitely not worth getting breakfast at the hotel.
