I must preface this review by stating that the Holiday Inn Downtown has a special place in my heart. You see this is where my reception was last April. However, my relationship with the building started even before that. For years my parents would attend the New Year's Eve party at this location, and so we would get to swim in the pool December 31 and January 1. It is centrally located to downtown, and the interstate, so was easy to reach, and also has many amenities.

Several of our guests stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown, and I heard nothing bad about their stay. There is a parking garage attached to the hotel, as well as parking on surrounding streets. It is very close to the historic Haymarket district, which many people enjoy due to the shops, restaurants, and bars. However, it is also very easy for out-of-towners to reach due to being able to see if from the interstate.

The rooms have all recently been redone, as well as the public spaces. I would not only recommend this, then, for a stay in Lincoln, but also for parties of any kind, as the staff is immensely helpful and supportive!
