| chrysa1's Full Review: Hollywood 48 Hour Miracle Diet |
I have tried every diet on the market. When I first saw this, I was in no way thinking I
would EVER try it. Then, one day while browsing some online auctions, I saw a bottle for
$9. I bid, and I won. I figured for that price, I didn't have too much to lose but a few
pounds.
The product sat in my house for weeks and weeks. I just couldn't see myself fasting on
nothing but this juice for 2 days. It says it is best recommended to use on a weekend. My
problem was in a week I do not get 2 days off in a row. I also wanted to do a little
research to see just how safe this product was. And I got mixed reviews. On many of the
independent web sites the reviews were all saying fasts were good on the body. It was a
natural process that should be done. Our body needs to be cleaned of toxins. The medical
web sites were the opposite. That our body naturally rids it of the toxins, and that doing a
fast can cause damage. Both types of web sites did say that there were side effects of
doing a fast. It is almost like a smoker, drinker, drug user going through detox and having
withdrawals. Your stomach cramps, you let light headed and dizzy, your body gets week.
You get headaches. And the list goes on and on. So, as you can see, I was scared. It is
proven the body needs nutrition. And doing this fast will deprive my body. Also, doing a
fast, you only lose water weight and lean muscle. You will not lose fat. Losing fat is the
purpose of a diet. Any doctor, nutritionist or dietitian will tell you it is not safe to lose
more than 1 - 2 pounds per week. The quicker you take it off, the easier it is to put back
on.
I don't want to harm my body. I can see the truth in losing up to 10 pounds. Your only
drinking juice and water. So you are constantly going to the bathroom. And you are not
eating any solid foods, so for 2 days you are not putting anything new in your system, and
the old has made it's way out. So on the third day your body is totally empty. And you
weigh in. Results. But, as soon as you start drinking and eating again, your body will fill
back up. Right? So it seems like you would almost have to use this product every
weekend to keep those pounds off. And that would be a very expensive habit. It is not
worth it. The best and safest way to lose weight is with a good diet and exercise. That has
been proven time and time again. Starving yourself is not a good idea. Your body goes
into starvation mode and your metabolism slows down. And the first meal you eat, your
body stores it as fat. You don't want that.
This product is also not recommended for someone wanting to lose a great deal of weight.
I know you are going to ask, "Did you use the product?" Yes, I did give it a try. On my
day off. I followed the direction to a T. And I did not cheat. I made it a whole day. But let
me tell you how I felt. I had no energy. I had a migraine. My stomach hurt so bad it was
almost unbearable. I tried to keep busy and keep my mind off of it. But I couldn't
concentrate on anything. I was week, had dizzy spells, went through a period where I
constantly felt like I needed to throw up. It was a terrible day. All I wanted to do was
crawl into bed and sleep.
However, the one good thing I do like about this product is the cleansing ability. There are
a lot of people who like to detox and cleanse there inner body. This would be a good
product for that. I would not advertise it as a weight loss miracle.
My suggestion to you is before you try this, ask yourself, " Can I really go 2 days without
food?" Do some research. Make a good and bad list. Think about it. Don't just rush out
and buy it cause it looks like a miracle in a bottle.
