I took a reread and can see the indecision. Really I was giving it a full recommendation. The blonde/redhead analogies were jsut highlighting that it strays from style. I deleted that paragraph, and feel that while it takes some of the humor out it now reads a little more clearly. I also developed my explanation of a Kolsch, which I had previously oversimplified in my attempt to avoid an indepth discussion.
Thanks for the advice. I intend to improve my beer writing style so any advice is always well noted. Anyway if you thought my message was indecisive on this one, I couldn't help with my next review.

Andrew, you seem a bit indecisive on this one. Tons of good information, as usual (though I wouldn't say a kölsch was like a pilsner...), but you seemed to get too wrapped up in your blonde/redhead thing, and the conclusions suffered a bit. I thought so, anyway. Still good, but I finished it shaking my head a bit.

If you're ever in Berkshire County, then go to The Old Forge in Lanesboro. They have (I think) 120 different beers. Some go for close to $20 for a 12 oz. bottle. You'd have a field day in there!
