most because he talked and prayed to God more
than any man, sang and wrote praises, suppli-
cations to Him, wrote:
" How precious are your thoughts about me,
Oh God! I can't even count them; they outnumber
the grains of sand! and when I wake up in the
morning you are still with me!"(Ps.139:17-18).
The psalmist concluded:
" Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light
for my path." ( Ps. 119:105 )
Millions in the world today still regard the
Word of God with high esteem and faith just
as David did, taking it as as a light by
which to walk through the pitfalls and dark-
ness of this world.
It has been noted that there are more than
thirty-seven thousand promises in The Bible.
In fact, the Bible is God's way to communi-
cate, to reach out, to save man. The theme
and the ultimate message of the Holy Scrip-
tures is God's call and offer for repentance,
the Coming of Christ and the salvation of man.
Here are ten great promises of the Bible,
some of them were spoken by Jesus Christ
during His ministry here on earth:

and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from
every wrong." 1 John 1: 8-9.
" Now turn from you sins and turn to God, so you
can be cleansed of your sins." Acts 3:19.

need a doctor- sick people do. I have come to
call sinners to turn from their sins, not to
spend my time with those who think they are
already good enough'." Luke 5:32.

with my victorious right hand." Isaiah 41:10.

only Son, so that everyone who believes in him
will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16.

has eternal life. Yes, I am the bread of life."
" Jesus told her, I am the resurrection and
the life. Those who believe in me, even though
they die like everyone else, will live again.
They are given eternal life for believing in me
and will never perish. Do you believe this Martha?"
In Times of Fear
" I am leaving you with a gift- peace of mind and
heart. And the peace I give isn't like the peace
the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid."

danger- so why should I tremble." Ps.27:1.

pleasant dreams. You need not be afraid of
disaster or the destruction that comes upon
the wicked, for the Lord is your security."
Home With God
" Don't be troubled, You trust God, now trust
in me. There are many rooms in my Father's
home, and I am going to prepare a place for
you. If this were not so, I would tell you
plainly." John 14:1,2.
" But we are looking forward to the new heavens
and new earth he has promised, a world where
everyone is right with God." 2 Peter 3:13.
" He will remove all of their sorrows, and there
will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain.
For the old world and its evils are gone forever."
For Times of Loneliness

then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of
that joy." John 16:22.
" Give all your worries and cares to God, for he
cares about what happens to you." 1 Peter 5:7.

care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip
and fall." Psalms 55:22.

love him'." 1 Corinthians 2:9.

will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to the
springs of life-giving water. And God will wipe
away all their tears." Revelation 7:17.
" You will show me the way of life, granting me
the joy of your presence and the pleasures of
living with you forever." Ps.16:11.
In Times of Financial Distress
" So don't worry about having enough food or
drink or clothing. Why be like the pagans
who are deeply concerned about these things?
Your heavenly Father already knows all your
needs and he will give you all you need from
day to day if you live for him and make the
Kingdom of God your primary concern."
" He will listen to the prayers of the desti-
tute. He will not reject their pleas."
For Times of Sickness
" The Lord nurses them when they are sick
and eases their pain and discomfort."
" Oh Lord, you alone can heal me; you
alone can save. My praises are for you
alone." Jeremiah 17:14.
" I will give you back your health and
heal your wounds, says the Lord."
Undoubtedly, the Holy Bible has all the
answers to all man's needs and problems.
In the beginning, God directly talked
to Adam and Eve and but then man started
to walk away from God, going farther away
in sin. God used the prophets to give man
His offer of salvation. Now we have the
Holy Bible which is God's gift to man
and it is full of God's promises.
God's promises live. Why not lay a claim for
those precious promises?
