What a surprise! A cordless, bagless, battery-powered stick vacuum that really really works. This thing is amazing, and nicely designed. SUCH AN IMPROVEMENT over the cordless vacuum we bought a few years ago -- advances in the new high-power battery technology make all the difference. You are gonna love this thing. If you have a small place or live in apartment, you probably wouldn't even need a regular plug-in vacuum cleaner. Unless, like, you had really ultra-deep-pile shag carpeting or something. But other than that, this would pretty much be all you would need.

NOTE: They don't tell you this, but the battery usage is a little specific (detailed information gleaned from a precise, probing, 20-minute conversation with their tech department, specifically about the battery characteristics):
1. DON'T RECHARGE IT AFTER EVERY USE -- this speeds it through its lifecycle and hastens its demise. Watch the handy LED "Fuel Gauge" to tell you when it is almost out of power, and then recharge it fully then.
2. DON'T LEAVE THE BATTERY IN THE RECHARGER AFTER IT'S CHARGED -- and don't put it into the vacuum, either. If those metal contact points are touching, the battery is draining. When it's done recharging, take the battery out of the recharger and leave it on its own, and unplug the recharger from the wall.
3. DO UNPLUG THE BATTERY RECHARGING STAND AFTER EVERY USE -- it's a live socket, essentially -- there is a mention in the manual about how it *could* be a fire hazard. Probably not, but I wouldn't want my cats sticking their paws in there or dust or lint falling in there.
