This vacuum got a good review in consumer reports, and they were right on. It works very well (sucks everything up), especially pet hair. I have a house full of shedding dogs and with one pass, every last hair is picked up. It also handles well (self propelled) and turns easily. All the attachments and extra accessories fit tight to the body of the vacuum, as well as the hose. The headlight works very well. The bags are fairly large (they hold a lot of junk), they're easy to change, and the refills are cheap. Assembly was very easy and I had the Hoover up and running in less than 10 minutes after opening the box (all you need is a phillips head screwdriver).
The only cons to the vacuum are is that it doesn't look all that great (who cares though), the hose is a little short (but it sucks very well), and the cord is difficult to wrap up (the hose gets in the way where it is draped). Very minor flaws though.
It's a great vacuum, and at about $80 including shipping, you can't beat the price. I don't know why it is so cheap since it works better than many vacuums that cost a couple hundred dollars. If you want a vacuum that sucks really well and don't want to spend a lot of money, this is the vacuum for you.
