My husband and I got the Hoover U5140-900 Tempo WidePath Bagged Upright Vacuum off of our wedding gift registry a few months ago, and I have absolutely loved it so far!

Assembly
This vacuum was incredibly easy to put together. The instructions in the manual were very easy to follow, and I was able to put it together all by myself (which never happens) in probably about ten minutes, at the most. Besides what comes provided in the box, all you need in order to put it together is a Phillips screwdriver.

Features
Aside from the fact that this vacuum does a great job of sucking up stuff, it comes with a lot of cool features. It has a 12 Amp Motor and a 15” Cleaner Width. It has a headlight that makes it easy to see underneath furniture—I love this feature when I am vacuuming underneath our bed. Along those lines, it has three different positions: it can bend back really low for when you need to get underneath furniture, it can then of course bend back normally for normal vacuuming, and then of course it goes upright for when you are using the cleaning tools or when you are storing it. It has a carrying handle that makes it easy to move around. I like to use this when I am crawling around using the cleaning tools. It has carpet height adjustment to better clean different lengths of carpets without having to push really hard to get it to move along. I only have one level of carpet in my house, so I haven’t used this feature a lot. It is lightweight and very easy to push across the carpet—sometimes I feel like it’s pulling me along with it rather than me pushing it. It has edge cleaning groomers on both sides of the nozzle which makes it so you can get right up to your base boards and get all the dirt. It has a check-bag indicator that will light up in red when the bag needs to be changed, or if something is blocking it. I have not had to change the bag just yet, but from the looks of it, I think it will be pretty simple. It also has allergen filtration that traps 100% dust mites and 99.98% ragweed and common grass pollens (according to the box). It was also quite cheap compared to other vacuums—we only spent $70 of our registry money on this vacuum.

Cleaning Tools
This vacuum comes with a few different cleaning tools that are all very easily attached to the hose.  The tools include a dusting brush which can be used for table tops, lamps, blinds, baseboards, and shutters, a furniture nozzle which can be used for upholstered furniture, mattresses, clothing, car interiors, and carpeted stairs, a crevice tool which can be used in tight spaces, corners, along edges, stairs, and baseboards, and 2 extension wands which are simply used to give extra length to the hose. I personally have used the furniture nozzle for my couch and chairs, and the crevice tool for when I am cleaning between my couch and the walls, and they have worked really well for me.

Things I Don't Like
One downside of this vacuum is the short hose which can be annoying.  Another thing that really can be annoying is how loud it is when you run it, I feel like I should be apologizing to my neighbors for the noise!  And last, but not least, the cord is short and is difficult to wind up because the tools and hose get in the way. I can never get it to stay on, it always seems to fall off after I store it in the closet which can be very annoying.

Despite the things I do not like about this vacuum, overall it really does its job well especially for the price I paid for it.
