Although I liked Hostel, I walked out of the theatre from Hostel 2 with a smile on my face, fear in my heart and delight all over. The previews were very encouraging and when I heard about the "great ending", I had to go see Hostel, Part 2 on its opening day. The story is extremely well written giving you a finale that nobody could expect. Although it is easy to peg who will get out alive, it is suprising how she gets out. There are many parts of this movie that will put you on the edge of your seat. It is well written, well played by all characters - especially the big names, i.e., Heather Matarazzo, Roger Bart, Lauren German, Bijou Phillips, Richard Burgi, Jay Hernandez.
Three American girls studying art in Rome decide to take a trip but are derailed to a spa with the art subject. They go to a spa but find themselves in a factory where they will be tortured.
I would not recommend this movie for any children or anyone offended by sexual references, nudity (men and women), gruesome torture scenes, drug references and profanity. eing my partner fan of horror and gory movies, my fifteen year old daughter attended with me and we were both very pleased.
